The ensemble
The ensemble around the trombonist Matthias Krüger, which is at home in East-Westfalia Lippe, was founded in 2003 and has since been especially active in the area of church music.
Slide-O-Five has made it its aim to interpret trombone music in all its bandwith on a high musical level and to present it to the broadest possible audience. We play music from the Renaissane and baroque periods, arrangements from classical and Romantic periods, contemporary music, hymns, gospels and spirituals, movie soundtracks, arrangements of musicals, swing and jazz music, our own compositions etc. And all this with the full, warm sound of five trombones!
